Front sonar parking sensors
is there a way to activate M5 front sonar parking sensors all the time once it goes into "DRIVE" ?
i can only see them working while in parking mode which I have to press the button or go in reverse... |

I just activate it via the button to the right of the shifter. Press that and then press the idrive knob to switch between rearview and overhead cam. Either way the sensors will be activated

by having front sensors active all the time (during drive) gives you much better alert to the driver in advance.
I'm comparing our sonar system vs Lexus's park assist. Can front sonars go active during drive mode without hitting the button? maybe by coding? |

Not sure if it can be coded to stay on. Just press that "P" button anytime you're getting close to something. I use it whenever I'm on tight garage ramps, the overhead view saves me big time
