Speaking of E60 M5, I scared the crap out of an old lady in next lane to me today just so i could make a pass at 7krpm. Gets old after sometime. I welcome F10 M5 and those that want to be buried with S85 V10 can get their wish. |

nice numbers. that's about 20% drivetrain loss which is pretty common on certain types of more conservative and tuner dynos.

if u want someone to notice u then paint your car pink or something, is it all about sound these days? i thought BMW M stood for the all around package not just the noise the car makes. ill research this more.

You're missing the whole point of how dyno's work.

I loved the old V10 and was worried about this new motor until I drove an X5 M the other day, that thing HAULS and actually sounds fantastic inside. Makes me wonder why the M5 has active sound when the X5 M sounds so great inside and out. |

I'm sorry but I think it's ridiculous to give up on this car without even seeing it in real life yet. I can also say that the E9x M3 is the most "sell out" M3 out of all of them. Numbest steering, a V8 that supposedly doesn't fit M history, the heaviest M3 of them all, DCT has no soul... yet here we are in an M3 forum. Btw, I'll be in the market for an E92 DCT M3, but I'm just saying. |
