Manhart Racing M5 F10 Tuning Packages Reach 624HP - 725HP
BIMMERPOST NEWS Manhart Racing M5 F10 Tuning Packages Reach 624HP - 725HP Manhart Racing has unveiled its new MH5 S Biturbo tuning program for the BMW M5 (F10). The first stage tuning package breathes more power into the M5's bi-turbo 4.4L V8 S63Tu engine by pushing it 624hp (633 PS / 466 kW) and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm) of torque. This is an increase of +72hp (73 PS / 54 kW) and 74 lb-ft (100 Nm) over factory. Yet to come will be even more powerful stages which will produce 661hp (670 PS / 493 kW) and 725hp (735 PS / 541 kW). Full details are not yet released, but you can bet on changes to the F10 M5's turbochargers, downpipes and exhaust system to achieve these monstrous figures. More details to come... As for other performance upgrades, Manhart will offer an adjustable coilover suspension which lower the M5's ride height 35mm front and 30mm rear. Also available is the Manhart sports exhaust system (video below) and 20" or 21" Manhart wheels. Video from a soundcheck of the Manhart Racing MH5 S exhaust system. |

pretty bad ass, but I just can't imagine voiding my warranty on such an expensive car, that is still new with many unknown issues. But I guess if you can afford the car and the mods, you can afford to pay to have it fixed...maybe

Why would they need to change the brakes? They are more than enough for that car.
BMW finally put a quality set of Brembo steel brakes on the car. Two-piece rotors with an aluminium hat. 6-piston front Brembo calipers. |

I think the braking performance, having tested it a few times hard is excellent. I have also had no problems on the track with some pretty aggressive braking in the new M5, standard disks with racing pads for longevity.
