Anyone notice the BMW flags in the backround? They have to become their cars if they are in SC.

I would go with alpine white, but dang that orange looks good! Nice to see a bunch of colors in the same light.

Are there options?
Whether it's the M carbon ceramic brakes or the default brake setup, does anyone know if your able to pick the color of the calipers? I think there should be options because some color [car/caliper] combinations don't look that great.
Hopefully you don't need a BMW individual to do this. Thanks. |

Are these the same carbon ceramic brakes on M6 Verts in showrooms across the country right now?

I also think BMWs cheap to use cast calipers for rear, like he said AMG, Porsche etc all use 4 piston rear.... |

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Im not so sure about "wearing out too fast".....in reality ceramic rotors and pads should last much much longer than steal. As far as money is concerned, yes you are correct they are very expensive to replace. Another huge advantage is no brake dust.... I can not stress enough how amazing it is to not have your rims covered in brake dust constantly!!

Sliding calipers on a performance car are quite silly. BMW has always lagged behind in it's brake technology for some reason. Maybe because they put so much R&D into the suspension and chassis. Either way, It would be nice to see 4 pots in the rear. Get rid of those ugly sliders. |

I've never tried them, and I was far from that option when it came to ordering my Pcar. What is the difference?

Be careful about attending this event guys. I went last year, and I ended up replacing a 9 month old 550i MSport with a new M5.
Once you taste these cars, your nice new car wont be good enough.
