That’s a nice price, especially considering the bushing is already pressed/included. If it’s solid delrin, that’s for sure going to increase vibration in the cab. I wouldn’t necessarily consider that “better,” unless you have a race car that isn’t a daily driver.

I’m running the RK billet diff mount with the stock bushing and it’s a great setup. Zero issues with vibration or driveability. The stock bushing is not what fails with high HP applications - it’s the cast mount itself. Both options obviously address that.

Thanks for the input ! Contacted DME Tuning they are running GAW completely solid diff mount and stated increase in vibrations etc is minimal, there is a slight increase in differential whine they stated but with their exhaust can hardly hear it. So i assume the Delrin version would cut down on that noise compared to solid. But I understand it will be louder the stock. GAW posted a video on facebook of the deflection from the stock bushing using just a screw driver and it's a lot. That's why to me the Delrin option is best.

Also like that GAW comes with a bushing and I don't have to pay up swap it out from my stock unit. So I can swap back to stock once I go to sell the vehicle fairly easily.

But again looking or reviews before I pull the trigger!

Does anyone know the part number of the original bushing or at least can confirm it's exact dimensions? RealOEM only lists the whole mount and not the bushing itself.

The bushing is not sold as a separate unit - it’s only sold as part of the diff mount.

Plenty of used mounts on ebay that you can rob the bushing from.

When I reinstalled mine - I filled the stock mount with liquid poly. Nice because it’s still totally quiet but quite a bit more durable than the stock bushing.

Can you give some more details on the process of filling the stock mount with liquid poly?

Picked up a black two part injectable polyurethane by 3M, as well as a applicator gun (sold separately).

I also grabbed a used OE diff mount from ebay for $50.

After installing the OE bushing in the RK diff mount, I made a mold from a couple Gatorade caps. I drilled a central hole in the caps, put nut/bolt thru mount with caps on each side. Made a small hole in the top cap to inject the poly, then filled the mount. Left the poly to dry for 48hrs - then removed the caps and had a super clean filled bushing.

It could be done much simpler - but I wanted an OEM look/mold, so that’s the point of the Gatorade caps. One could easily just tape up the edges of the bushing and fill away. You’d likely get an imperfect looking result but functionally it would be the same.

I genuinely appreciate the knowledge share sir. I might be the only person to see it but after years of shop work with my grandfather; I am a fit and finish guy thanks to his in fluence. I recently plastic welded some cracks in the splash shield on under the engine. I probably spent more money in man hours than the damn thing cost in dollars but the results were well worth it and learned a great deal about the different types of plastic in the process.

I've been searching ebay for a rear diff purely for the purpose of having a battle spare bushing. So now I'll have one ready to swap the day I do the brace.

I appreciate thoughtful work just like you sir! Unfortunately when I look at my toys, I can only see the defects. When something is done 99.8% correctly, I only see the 0.2% that was done wrong. It’s a curse, but a blessing to the eyes when modding cars

I can't thank my grandfather enough for really driving home the benefit of measuring twice and cutting once or a place for everything and everything in its place. I have been blessed with this curse and I am ok with this burden.

I liken it to chasing down the green flash at sunset. It is not that the 1000's of other sunsets are terrible
