front and rear pad replacement: a few Qs
will soon be replacing rotors and pads at both ends and have a few questions:
1. are folks replacing wear sensors each time, and if so, is it 2 at the front and 1 rear? 2. The Ferodo rears I got didn't come with retaining clips (or whatever, see pic), but in the DIY vid I watched, the guy definitely replaced them. I also don't see any separate part number for them. Am I just stuck cleaning up the existing ones? 3. are people really not using brake pad paste (at least on the fronts)? I saw not to use paste mentioned twice in a DIY thread but I'm not sure why.
