How come the insurance payout is so low? They should you back in an equivalent m5 surely? Only snotters at that price.

5k is silly cheap to buy it back, looking at that a decent body shop would have it looking like new again for a few grand.

That’s a steal at £5k if you have a mate with a body shop

5k!
I am sure you will get a lot more breaking it and sell the parts...
Can't believe the car insurance company is being so unfair!
What did you say the value of the car was as on ur insurance policy?

Good Morning,
Well im back!! i bought the M5 back but sold it on. i then spent 6 months looking around and bought a Maserati Granturismo 4.7. fantastic car and very reliable. However i have just been offered silly money for my Maserati which i would be stupid not to accept. So, its back to M cars now, im thinking M6 up to £30k. I might wait till the market calms down as is bonkers right now. i take it the M6 has the same issues as the M5 regarding oil consumption etc, mine was ok but did take a litre every few thousand miles. Happy to be back!

I'm gonna use a 0W40 in the next change coming up where you don't top up that often.
