The correction factor they use is wrong bc we shouldn't use any lol ., Great article in sport auto recently about the improper use of Correction Factors on turbo cars that already correct for conditions . They retested the Turbo S on their MAHA and it made within 7hp of claimed( with CF it was around 620) , they then tested on properly calibrated MAHA's at different elevations and temps . All the numbers were the same . The jist of the article was we shouldn't apply correction factors to modern turbo cars .

How fast do you go that a 997.2 TT loses steam, it smokes a Zr1 to over 150mph....

Perspective:

A stock M6 will go from 0-150mph in 17.9s

A stock 997.2TT will go from 0-150mph in 16.2s.

A stock 991 turbo s will go from 0-150mph in 16.4s

A tune/exhaust 997.2 TT will go from 0-150mph below 15s

A tuned 997.2 TT will smoke both other cars in this race. That was not a properly tuned/run 997.2 TT in this race..... Or it was not one at all lol !

One of the German mags tested the non S .2 turbo this week. It did 0-100 km 2.9, 0-160 6.3 , 0-200 9.7 !! .So without rollout it matched the 991.1 Turbo S numbers they had and 1.5 seconds faster to 200 km/HR than the fastest M6 CP test ever . It also went from 100km to zero braking in 92 feet. The S is going to be fast as f$&@.

I knew it would be good, but not this good!

i've just bought a new DD car in the hope I wouldn't want to change my TTS until the all new model is out in a few years.

Well the OP did post that he wasn't sure after the fact if it was modded. All I know and have to rely on is my personal ownership of: 997.1 TT, 997.2 TT, and a 991 TT-S. It appears the 150 mark (which is irrelevant in the real world for use) is where the drag really hits these cars. And your posted times are from a dig where the TT easily gets out but Ill bet a rolling race is a different story with an M6
