My point was not to compare Ford GT with NSX!
I was trying to say that you cannot go by just brand because it's Acura (or Honda)... and of course you take a 500k car (as you claimed) over a 200k car... I take P1 over 458 too LOL

I'd rather have the slow 550crank hp NSX than a ford GT but thats just me. I've never been impressed with the Ford GTs regardless of their accomplishments. Kinda like that Hennessy Venom that is lauded over. I would rather drive an e92 m3 over either the Ford GT or Venom.

I think its how the cars were maintained I know guys who drive their exotics with 30,50,70k miles that run tenfold better than the guys who have 2-10k miles on them...

Personally I'd take high milage very reasonable owner over a low low low milage owner..

Also complex is different in different ways what is Japanese complex is not Euro complex.

So again I'd still trust the Japanese over the germans till we have some solid history on this era of cars.

But again Germans, Italians have made great strides in the last ten years. Like leaps and bounds.

In deed but my point was not geared around reliability, but more so these cars are moved for new toys by the majority of the owners I know. Look at Mike and Vic my two car super hero's 12 months is a lifetime for them.

Really? Are you serious about selling the M5 in favor of the Tesla P85D?

So you are driving P85D and are going to get rid of M5 and put deposit for NSX and placed the order for 570s... right?

I don't know if you guys saw, but McLaren is going to allow people to lease the new 570S. Payments will be around $2,200 a month, which is what some people pay on a lease for an M6. I just hope the residuals will be at least above 60% on a 3 year lease for the new 570S. Sounds very attractive though.

No way do M6's lease that high unless someone is a fool... that 2200 number is also with a tremendous down at 5k miles per year.

Residuals for 36 months/5k/570S = 64 = WOW

Ill get the car but not right away.

I actually knew several people whose lease payments were $2,200 or more a month for an M6. Lol!

Anyways, here's one of the articles about McLarens new move. Looks like it'll be a good strategy for them since the car will complete with the likes of the Porsche Turbo S and Audi R8 V10. Maybe Honda should let people lease the new NSX too. Lol! Either way, sounds like a big down payment will be required to get payments low.

I don't know how many NSX's Honda plans on producing but I think McLaren plans on producing quite a lot of 570S's, both good and bad for customers.

Based on what Ive seen via Dan Prosser and Chris Harris on reviews along with ColdList review; this car is going to be awesome and a great competitor to a Turbo S and R8 V10.

While this is not official watch the acceleration between the Turbo S and the 570S

Yeah you are right. I got a quote for about the same (~2200 per month) for a almost fully loaded 2014 M6 GC for 140k at the time I got my car in September 2013, but that was based on MSRP with no discount, 55% residual and 0.00130 MF, tax included.
Anyways, I agree with you that 2200 per month for 570s is a great deal

That's incredible! I was really pleasantly surprised to read when ColdList mentioned about how the tech in the 570S is better than the 650S. Crazy.

I wish the M5 handled like the 570S.
570 not as comfy as M5 but not annoying while DD in traffic.
I dropped into the least aggressive modes and did 65 on freeway, M5 (exhaust) was louder in cabin vs 570 sport exhaust
Incredible confidence in high speed corners especially at acceleration during apex. Brought back the early M5 feelings in Germany. Steering wheel and paddles sick feel.
I also like the raise function for my driveway.
Touch screen kind of basic but I'm used to 17inch tesla iPad lol.
The lines are ridiculous in person and the rear end seals the deal.
Compared to NSX lines, no comparison. I was looking forward to AWD nsx for putting down the power but after the 570 took corners and take offs with minimum slippage and confidence, I've decided to go for the RWD 570S
All I can say is, go drive one.
I want to give a shout out to Niko for suggesting the 570 and making me forget all about the NSX.
Delivery est June

Just read that McClaren are starting a second shift and hiring another 250 more people due to increased demand for the cars. Good news this.

Wonder what a nicely loaded 570S will cost off of a 2 year lease? lol

Bish the 2 year lease is a little stiffer since the term is short and the depreciation curve is heavy. The best way to go, if you lease, is probably 3 years at 5k a year and that residual is 64%. I have seen a few sticker prices on the 570S and nicely equipped one is circa 215k (Carbon, Stereo upgrade, lifter, technology).

I'm just not ready yet since I have two recent coupes (GTS and Huracan) that I wont part with. I just need a GT Luxo cruiser to hit the streets for some quick commutes in heavier traffic.
