Specifically, it is the BMW factory warranty until 7/2019, then the unlimited miles BMW CPO warranty until 7/2020 and is transferable. Not sure of the cost to extend, buts it's possible. There's also aftermarket warranties available that will easily extend the time much longer since it is under factory warranty.

The Maintenance is until 75k, so a lot of time left.

I had no issues with an E60 M5 that was 90k+ miles and 9 years old and way outside factory warranty. They will warranty these cars no issue. Other than that you'll have over a year to figure out that decision to have continuous coverage. Either way solid and reliable car that you'll be covered with.

A warranty is a must on any M car imho. I still have CPO coverage but will be getting a 3rd party right before CPO expires.

I was just curious where does the information come from about inability to cover a car in CA. I will be moving to SoCal very soon so this raised my concerns but I am sure there's always a way around it.

Beautiful car btw GLWS! SG/SO is probably one of my favorite color combos.

Bump, I have looked over all sales sites, there are no 2015+ M5s for less than $50K+ with warranty attached.
