Detailer's Domain: Big Clean Up on a Big Classic - Mercedes 600 SEL W100
Mercedes-Benz 600 (W100) - this was a big one!
This one was a call that took us off guard. The 600 SEL has been a car I had waited to work on for years. Always loved this one since I first saw it as a kid in the old movies. I knew my customer had this car but had never seen it, finally got a call in for it and I was a bit surprised it was for mold removal......a lot of it. The car was brought in and after taking a look at it, the customer and I decided it was best to go full out on it - mold removal, engine clean up, paint correction, and protection. This car is a special one to the family, we took special measures to take our time and made sure we were able to get it back to it's glory. Classic car, but wow! What a transformation! The owner must've been in tears seeing the difference before and after. So, I'm curious how long that took and how many people worked on it? Also, do you have a mobile service? I'm only about 2500 mi away. Great job!
