Wow man.
You have my dream garage, thanks for sharing all of these cars on this board. I have been quietly watching/following for a long time, living vicariously through you. |

Congrats!!!!!!! I got a chance to ride in my cousins its SAVAGE! He was running a Fi exhaust it crackled popped even burbled made all kinds of beautiful noises. Its a fantastic car and reading what you wrote you already know that. Whats the rim game going to be like, are you going to keep them stock or you going to do something with em? I thihink your Hurcan is almost as low as the one pictures, idk about the kind of aggressive stance on it but I really like the design of the rims. It may be photoshopped tho. Once again Congrats and enjoy her in good health. Maybe one day you'll trade her in on Aventador or something.

Congratulations Vic55 what an awesome machine! That thing should be plenty loud alright. When you get a moment, pls do make a cell phone video revving it.
Between the gt3, ff, 458, huracan, gts, the 458 might now be the slowest of the lot. Not sure if it feels that way though! Looks like the gt3rs is the logical next purchase. You'll soon run out of fast cars to buy

The GT3 is still the slowest of the lot by a decent amount in regards to "up top" measurements. Its probably the easiest to launch of the RWD cars I have but the Huracan is the fastest overall from a dig and a roll IMHO. I think the car might be too low--- its barely over the ground in the front and it has the undercarriage dealer installed protection bars but Im going to raise it about 1/2 of an inch and maybe drop the rear about 1/4. It looks amazing when parked but I find myself using the lifter a lot (never use the 458 or FF lifters). I barely even use the GT3 lifter and that thing is low too but the Huracan takes the cake. Early on driving it brings an incredible rush (placebo or not) and launches are strong and explosive. There is a slight bit of understeer associated with the Dynamic Steering upgrade that I have but the car is easily maneuverable with throttle modulation. I really love the interior of this car, so supple yet firm. I know I have said that I love the Jag, GT3, and AMG GTS exhaust in their OEM format; and that remains my stance since I don't know this car's sound with a stock set up but this modded Race Exhaust, it is outrageous. More to come as I drive it but its thoroughly living up to its reviews and performance numbers via vids and mags thus far.

I think Im going to actually keep the stock forged upgrades for now--- good design, weight, and reasonable offsets. The pic you posted has to be a PS...

Yeah, I remember a Jag he bought a while back and I think it's gone now, no love anymore for it. I feel sorry for his cars, they never know which one of them is going to be driven. Now my car can count on getting taken out for a drive on a regular basis and to the drag strip and to be shined up. Not his, they can never be sure of seat time..........

I love how you post such nonsense like "feeling sorry" for my cars. I guess I better keep them longer to provide a better home and be a better owner/dad to them

I have had a lot of fun in my RR going off road with it lately. I took it out in the woods Saturday because I am doing a timber harvest and it performed spectacularly out in the mud going through deep mud and not getting stuck. It took me 15 minutes in Madisonville to spray wash the mud off the rims and out of the wheel wells so I cold drive the damn thing back home on the highway. I couldn't drive over 50 because it was so out of balance with dried on mud. I have to take my cars off road a lot because of my resource interests that let me buy the fast cars so I spend a lot more time in the RR and Cayenne than the TTS. Of course the Cayenne really doesn't go very far off road because it's too pretty, the RR is an amazing off road vehicle. It's just as effective as one of those big 4x4 trucks but it's better looking and faster. The trees are 700 miles from the oil wells and I go regularly to both, I live in between the two. So my vehicles have to pull their weight, they can't all be beauty queens. We are different people with different tastes and needs in our vehicles. So do you have a large enough garage to hold all your cars or do you keep them offsite and rotate? I am still trying to get my head around how I could have that California and keep the 991TTS. |

As for space- I have several points and houses and one has the R8 and C63 (long story but with the ex) so I cant and wont spend money to replace them since its my money and I wont enjoy what they are replaced with via usage. The rest I have and have been fortunate in my life to be able to work less in my last few years and drive more on a daily basis. You would be shocked to know Ive put over 1600 miles on that FF = 20 thousand in normal miles I probably have been down quite a few cars in recent years but did enjoy them all except for a ghastly CL65: 2012 CL63 2012 E63 Wagon 2013 M5 2013 M6 2013 SL63 2013 C4S 2014 RS7 2014 Porsche Turbo S 2014 Ferrari 458 2015 Porsche GT3 2015 Jaguar F Type R plus so many before notably a GTR (2009 kept for 2 years WTF)... 4 other M's and 6 other AMG's and some wild Supra Turbos. To your point about different tastes, I hear you. I have never been an SUV type of owner other than what the ex had and wanted. In Cali the environment is a bit different as you know and if I was to delve into truck ownership it would probably be a Raptor or bad ass new RR Autobio.

I wanted to trade the M5 even for the Raptor but Ford is not willing to part with them for less than msrp, they were fairly stuck on them even in late Dec. So I got the RR Sport SC which has been a terrific SUV. I was out at my Scott Fee well (thats the one in the sunset) where my wildcat operator lives and he had 5 Raptors parked out in front of his place and I pulled the RR up behind them. I was surprised how much smaller it is. The Raptor would have filled up my driveway too much but RR can do everything it does except haul things around in the bed. The RR has more hp and can accelerate really well. I still turn my head each time I pass a Raptor though. The RR gets scratched up by pine branches in east texas and by mesquite in west texas when it goes out there in the boonies. So while I would like to switch it for a fancier model, I think it's better to just live with this used one and see how far I can go with it. I already put 8k miles on it since late Dec when I bought it. |

William I've met you on our runs so I mean no disrespect when I say this. We all know you have your oil wells as it's well documented in all your post. Everyone is happy for you as that's a blessing from above. But why do you always have to mention it in everyone's post. Again I'm just curious as I've noticed this a lot. You might not even know it's happening but I was just making you aware. That's all but again no disrespect.

Vic I know your Huracan is louder than this one. I need some videos man, so I can drool all over my keyboard. Plus that Matte White is so stormtrooper. The Force is strong with you Master Obi Wan Vicobi.

Wow that is low! I bet that Matte Bianco really pops under the sun. I was thinking about white for my next car, but you've moved the goalposts, again; lol.
Please sir, can I have some more (pics - would love to see it in direct sunlight) |
