IDrive Currently Playing List

Hey all! Just recently picked up a 2013 M5 and was wondering about the IDrive on this thing. I had a 2011 E92 M3 and when I had a USB stick playing music, the track list would stay after I selected the song.

On the new IDrive, when I select a track from the currently playing list, it changes the screen to the song information. Is there a way to prevent this so it stays on the track list so I don't have to keep going back to get to the list?

Better solution: Just roll the dial on the right side of the steering wheel, then press to select.

Voila!

BTW - my 3 year old figured this out...not me.

I used that every now and then, but I like the IDrive better since I can see more of the list and it's quicker. It also doesn't reset the selection, if I stop scrolling for a little while to pay attention on the road or turn the car. I'm so used to it after after 2 M3s.

I do the same thing, kinda bugs me, I guess the only way is to go to all songs.

I use the "Back" button and it returns me to the list...
(the one on the idrive knob that is)
