How Do I Send a Google Map Route to My M5?

First of all, can I send a google map route to my M5? Here is the Google Map Route: [url]https://mapsengine.google.com/map/viewer?mid=z1GI7NU_RasM.kkryP_J6Jn3w

Second, if it is possible, then can you please walk me through the steps? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if you can send a Map route to the car, you can however send the destination address and do so in the following mannor:

1) Pick your destination
2) Click on "More"
3) Click on "Send"
4) Click on "Send to Car"
5) Select make of car
6) Put in your BMW Assist Account Name
7) Click on Send

The destination will show up on your i-Drive menu as an office message. Open it up and you can click on it to make a route. You can also save as a destination in your nav system.

Thanks Ghueser. Unfortunately if I just click my final destination, then it will give me the shortest route and not the twisties that I want in my canyon run. I guess I can input each individual turn area as a destination so I will have multiple destinations. Thanks again.

If you send the route points as individual destinations to your car you can create the route within our nav by adding additional stops on route!

If you can't find the send to option in Google Maps, it's because you have to set Google Maps to use the old version.

The send option is never there in Google maps once you have the route. It's only there when you choose the destination, you can only send the destination. The routes that the bmw nav picks are often questionable so I usually check the google routes before the trip and then try to remember them. You can fool with route options to change the route.
