Water in left boot well

Hi all

Today the sound stopped working in my f10, removed left hand boot trim to find water in there. Not sure where it’s come from but possibly fried the amp

Is there supposed to be a drain hole there, is this a common issue or have I just been unlucky?

Thanks

I had this issue

There is a plastic piece that sits over each tail light

The round socket when water comes down leaks water
It comes from factory with foam under it
I had to silicon mine in and no leaks

Hi

Thanks for that, any pictures by any chance?

Want to make sure water doesn’t come in again as I’ve ordered any amp which isn’t that commonly available

Think I've found the leak. Took off the drip trim and low and behold there was a clear hole in the boot. the plastic grommet fixing which sits in the bodywork was missing, the other side is present. Stripped out all boot carpet and could see water has trickled down into battery well but it wasn't deep. I'll have to remove everything to clean it all up properly.

I've ordered new ones which I'll silicone in before fitting the new amp

Thanks for the suggestion
