Hydraulic smell inside car

So I spent the day driving around town for a few hours and started smelling a hydraulic fluid type smell. DCT maybe? Initially thought it was outside the car until it persisted for more than 20-30 minutes and eventually became very strong near the read passenger area.

I then noticed the car not wanting to downshift as I came to a stop. Coming off the highway it remained in 7th gear until I almost came to a stop. However up shifting was smooth. I made it home and checked for leaks but didn't find anything.

I have no check engine, drivetrain malfunction or any CEL's. Weird.
