Exhaust Tips

Hi guys.

I currently have standard chrome tips on my stock M5 exhaust (F10 LCI, 2013) and I wanted to get black tips. I went to my local BMW dealer and asked them if I could have the competition pack exhaust tips, and they said that their system said they can only order it for CP cars. He then went to go and ask his colleague and came back and told me that the outlet pipe diameters are slightly different between CP and non-CP.

I don't know if this was simply BS as it might be some company policy of going by their internal ordering guidelines (i.e. in the same way that they're not allowed to order Individual parts for non-individual cars), so I wanted to ask on here;

1) Do CP tips fit on non-CP cars, without changing the mufflers?
2) What other sort of 'plug-and-play' black/dark grey exhaust tips are there which will work with the stock exhaust?

In a free world, I would have gone with the Dinan muffler delete, but family, neighbours and work colleagues have already complained about the noise that I make with stock as it is, so doing anything to the muffler is out of the question.

Get the tips on your car powder coated black.

Do a search on here for Cyba tips. I had the black ones and loved them. The stock ones just pull right off and these bolt on the outside.

As for power coating, I don't know anyone locally who could do that.

I have CF tips on my car, they look great. Bought them on eBay for around $350 plus shipping
