MIR | Roll Racing | Fri Aug 26 & Sat Aug 27, 2022
Checking to see if anyone is going to the roll racing event at MIR. I expect to arrive Friday around 1PM and Saturday by 9AM.
Fri Aug 26, 9AM-5PM, Qualifying Sat Aug 27 9AM-1PM, Eliminations Events: https://www.racemotive.com/pages/rollcup2022 THEIR STAFF WAS EXCELLENT AND WERE RELAXED REGARDING THE RULES. BY THE END OF THE DAY ON FRIDAY, I WAS IN SHORTS AND SHORT SLEEVES…JUST A HELMET. I WAS THANKFUL BECAUSE IT WAS VERY WARM.

RaceMotive at MIR
My best at roll racing 1/3 of a mile on Friday was 143 mph. The temperature was 91 F and the DA was approximately 2900 feet.

I was car 738 and qualified 8th in the 140-149.99 mph division. There were approximately 18 vehicles in our division. I got to race the next day on Saturday since I qualified in the top 8.

Video:Clip of roll racing at MIR
Here’s a very short clip of me in line for day 2 (Eliminations Day) of roll racing at Maryland International Raceway. My car is difficult to see. It’s on the far left and is last in line. I’m the guy in the black shirt, standing near the white Corvette having difficulty starting the engine.
This part of the video has some roll racing of others in my class (140-149 mph), but doesn’t show any of my runs. I was eliminated by the white GTR who was third overall in the competition. Que in 24 minutes… https://www.google.com/search?q=junk...id:aFifIjQa0hc
