M5 F10 Forum Updates - will regular 5-series and M5 be out at same time?

So guys whats the deal? All we know is that theyre testing the F10 5 alongside with the M5, and some pics will be released on Nov 23rd hopfully its including the M5. Lets hope this means that the 5, and the M5 will be released tog. same date.

-I was at BMW Yesterday and I put down my order for the 2011 BMW M5 so I dont get screwed once this thing comes out. I put down a 500$ refundable deposit.

Regular F10 5-series and M5 probably won't be released on the same date, but the M5 will be released earlier than the typical period BMW waits before releasing an M version.

That's awesome, you may be our first member to have a deposit down for a F10 M5!

Can't wait to see both. Hoping the M5 gets KERS and curious to see what kinda massaging they will do on the X5/X6 M engine.

And its also said production for the M5 ends December 2009, looks like beemers on time and working quick. I would think the longer time it takes them the more sales they loose and this just isnt a good time for them to loose sales, theyrefor hopefully they work quick so I can see that puppy in my driveway by this summer or oct of 2010 which is 4th quarter, generally when the 2010's hit the showrooms. I just hope they keep teasing us until then and feed us more true info, so we dont go nuts.

I might put a second deposit down, and sell my spot when the times ripe. I believe the M's will be hard to get your hands on.

It will not. It will kill the highest non-M 5 sales upon launch.
