Storing M5 Over Winter
With previous cars regarding gas tank I have just before storage filled up gas tank, added Stabil then drove short distance home. For tires I have overinflated them by say 10 lbs. With these steps I have never experienced any problems with my previous performance cars. Does anyone see why I shouldn't maintain the same practices for my 2013 M5? Appreciate your thoughts . And good luck to those seriously affected by Sandy.

I've not got a M5 (wish i did though!) but the manual of mine states that if you need to store, contact your dealer who can advise on what needs to be done. Worth giving them a call?

A little bit more tyre pressure and 1/4 gas is what i am doing with my cars plus battery charger. The same thing a gona do with the m5.
Never had any problems. Car stays about 4 months not used |

I always fill up gas tank to avoid condensation in the tank. Thanks for your reply.
