"Click" on slow speed turns
Hi all,
Noticed a metallic clicking sound when turning right at low speed. Only just noticed it as hot with windows down. (2013MY M5 with 37k miles) Sounds like an AC compressor clicking in and out, however it is not as the noise continues to make noise with / without AC on. Went online and found this service fix (below), which describes exactly what I’m hearing, however its a singular click as I turn the wheel rather than a repetitive on each wheel rotation. https://bmw-worldzz.blogspot.com/201...VjLksM644MBP0F Has anyone experienced the same issue? Has anyone performed this service fix? Thanks Ewan |

Possibly the diff disengaging? Not sure why only on a right turn though. If it’s in slow turns, it may be possible to locate in a car park with some help.
May also be as simple as light rubbing of front tyre on wheel well guards. It is possible on even standard cars occasionally. Check for witness marks underneath. |

I had this and they changed the front wheel bearing and a lower wishbone bushing. Try pushing the tire with your foot while parked and see if it does it then
