Spacers

Just asking it here because the main chassis/wheels thread is full of hard core modded cars and I think I just need the British answer

I saw a 520d with spacers the other day, maybe dropped a bit too, looked fantastic, really suits the F10 body.

Does it make a difference to handling, alignment or tyre wear? I don’t track the car I just go to Lidl occasionally.

I hate this question; does it invalidate insurance and warranty? In my experience people just try to avoid this issue but claims of ignorance don’t stop them refusing claims

H and R springs with 10mm spacers at the rear and 12mm at the front..... will gain more at the back when I swap my 295's for 305's Ride/handling feels superior to stock, steering has not changed at all, can't comment on tyre wear yet as only been done a couple of months.... Re insurance, if any incident happened I would say they were already fitted when I bought the car in February...

That looks pretty awesome actually, I’d like to see it with the new rear tyres.

That ‘stocky’ stance makes such a massive difference to the cars presence
