Yellow engine management light
Once in a long while it comes on, then after two or three days goes off for another four or so months so can't be bad.

Diagnosing a symptom like that is a fools errand. Even if the light goes away, the faults will still be stored in memory, so please go to the dealership or a local BMW shop and have your codes read. Post up what they tell you has caused a fault and we can try to help you then.

I had the same a few weeks back its called the Emission light .Mine was Air mass to high after the dealers never fitted a air pipe back correctly after they had changed the air con compressor a few days before .Hope yours is as easier took the dealers 6 hours to find it .
