ED confirmed!

Hey all,

Been thinking about to upgrade to f10 M5 when they first released since last year and finally pull the trigger

I will be picking up my MY14 Black Sapphire/Sakhir Orange on 9/2 at Welt for my first ED.

Like to thanks everyone in this great place

Especially these great ED stories from greentrbo95gst, RpiM5 and M54ccibo!

Thanks Golffrr at Steve Thomas and his team take great care of me for the order process and now wait begins.....

I'm also scheduled to pick up my M5 on Sept 2nd at the Welt -- Black Sapphire w/ full-black leather + competition package. Can't wait! See you there!

Nice! What is your delivery time? I am asking for 9:30am.

Where are you planning to go for your ED trip? I will be driving to Neuschwabstein/Salzburg/Vienna and return back to Muinch.

My delivery time is 4:30pm. I'll be there earlier to make the factory tour.

We will then be heading south to Italy -- Venice, Florence, Tuscan countryside, and then off to Nice to drop off the car before flying back to Rome and Capri.

Counting down the days and not sleeping well in anticipation! :P

Nice! Getting mine Sept 2 as well, Singapore grey w/Silverstone. Planning is sort of hazy now but basically Prague, Stelvio Pass, Austrian and Swiss alps, Black Forest, Nurburgring, then back. Possibly Vienna, we'll see.

my route for a week later than you is similar... just not going all the way out to Praha (love the city, but way broing driving between Munchen and there) :

Still have to finalize it, but I'll post it up in a week or so when we do. My wife really wants to go to Prague. For me, it's more KM on the car so I can get it serviced and hit the 'ring

Want to meet for breakfast? I will be the one on Sept 2nd 9:20 AM picking up M6 GC Space Grey with Sakira Orange interior. 6th BMW, first ED and upgrading from 07 M5. Still working on plan but to include Lake Como and Nurburgring.

Prague is beautiful! I was there last summer, will definitely be going back when I do euro delivery on my new AMG next summer. If you have the time available I highly suggest going.

Congrats to all very nice experience. Makes some of us feel like the old guys as we were all geeked up last year for the US launch delivery. Mine was September 3rd I believe, and BMW gave us a tour of the M design studio because we were the launch group last September. It was pretty cool, and many of the guys still stay in touch.
