Had the same issue yesterday. The screen flickered about 4 times then it stopped. This is on a 2014 with the software update released on March 2014.

Update,
The dealership changed the head unit not the Nav screen and didn't help and I gave it back to them and now they are changing the whole Nav screen and will take it today!!

I have a feeling that won't fix it either!!
Defective batch of something!
Also such issue will start getting more problematic as the weather gets hotter and hotter!!

Rediculous!
Nobody has a clue what's going on!

Will keep you in the loop
I am lucky to have a very nice SA named Luca who's willing to do everything possible to make his BMW clients satisfied despite such aggravating and frustrating process which ain't exactly an easy task.

I think this will fix it. However I suggest you familiarize yourself with lemon law eligibility requirements just in case.

I know about the lemon law Stealth.pilot
But I love this car and willing to be a bit more patient and this is 2nd time at dealership for same issue and once I hit 4 times and the 20 days I will probably consider it as I have no time for this.
But I like the dealership and I don't want to just think that way too early on!
Thanks for the advice sir

Will keep you posted

just got my 750 back yesterday. Work order says they replaced the control display.
"Part # 65-50-9-284-969 Central Information"
They tested it over the weekend and it never flickered. So mine is fixed hopefully.
