Water/Meth for cooling and cleaning?

To start off with my goals with the car currently are a stage 1 and maybe in the future a stage 2 setup. Historically with DI cars there have been issues with significant carbon buildup on the intake valves.

Does anyone here run water or water/meth for just cooling and cleaning purposes? Meaning just using a standard tune without pushing the limits, so that if there is a failure of the meth system there would be no ill effects.

Is it worth it? Does it actually clean carbon deposits?

Would it potentially alleviate issues with the injectors? Some of the pictures of removed injector tips look like theyre caked in carbon buildup.

The cleaning ability of water injection isn't new news, you can find videos all over YouTube. I'm guessing running water/meth is possible without a tune, but I'd get even a stage 1 just because it's that much funner and still plenty safe on the engine itself.
