Interior chronicles for the m5
What’s up everyone anyone with an f10 m5 must be going through interior challenges like the gummy/sticky feel on the door handles and etc or the arm rest deteriorating along with the center area around the shifter.
My question is what are some things you’ve guys have done to fix these areas |

The sticky door handle isn't synonymous to just the M5. It's a common issue with all BMW's due to the material they use. The fix is to replace it every so often. Regarding the arm rest, I have a brown hand towel that always sits there. I place my elbow there while driving and use it as a cover when I park.
Another good solution is to have a good ceramic tint on all your windows and use a sunscreen at all times. Lastly, use a good leather conditioner at least 3-4 times a year. Whether you daily drive or weekend drive, apply the conditioner 3-4 times a year. These items will help preserve your interior. Hope this helps. |
