Dash Pad comign up

Has any one had any issues with the top layer of the dash pad coming up? Recently purchased a 2013 and noticed around the middle dash speaker the pad is peeling up. Seems to be the glue or whatever is under it is not holding anymore. Thanks.

I assume you have a leather top? Same thing happened to mine and in the same spot. I've yet to take the time to try and repair it. I've heard of several others having the same issue.

Some say it can't be fixed. I'm not an upholstery expert but I would think it could be heated, glue sprayed under and restretched into place.

yep, in my search for an M5, almost every "extended" or full leather optioned car I saw had this issue. Especially 2013's. Not sure if it was a time thing or not. Common issue for sure. I ended up going w/ a non-full leather car.

Well the Carvana warranty is paying for it at my local BMW dealer.....$5200 to replace the entire dashboard as according to the dealer only right way to fix it as gluing it does not work.

Very happy customer
