not bad numbers for stock, could easily reach high 11s with just a tune.

yeah, that's awful, if the M5 acts anything like that, consider it a dealbreaker.

I don't know man, it's pretty much gonna be the same Auto Transmission. Lol!

"The F10 M5s manual and twin-clutch transmissions are both axed in favor of a smoother, more optimally geared ZF 8HP75 torque-converter transmission that is shared by both the F90 M5 and the M550i. Its largely unmodified from one to the other, with each sharing the same eight transmission ratios while the F90 M5 gets a shorter axle ratio (3.15:1 versus 2.81:1 in the M550i). The M5s converter locks up after about 3 feet of travel and stays locked. This, along with more rigid mounting of the various powertrain elements, results in greater drivetrain stiffness in the M5. The 7-plus percent shorter overall gearing contributes a bit to the F90 M5s generally more eager acceleration feel."

Yeah. Shame about shorter ratio's as well, i'm a fan of longer gearing, it feels like more a sense of occasion rather than just redline shift then 2 seconds later shifting again with the ZF8. I think it's cool you can do 145mph in 4th gear in the M5. Full acceleration in 3rd and 4th gear always brings a smile.

I agree.

More gears would have made sense in an E60 M5 where it had a relatively narrow power band, but in a car with a broad torque band like the F10 or F90 it seems like a waste, almost detrimental.
