Audi RS5 Sportback (4-doors) no longer a rumor!

Looks like Audi is actually coming through with a product that BMW refused to make, an M4 Gran Coupe. I personally think an RS5 Sportback will be an awesome car, as the hoffmeister kink on the Sportback looks 10,000 times better than on the RS5 coupe for one thing, but also having the practicality and utility of 2 extra doors will be very nice. Sure it will be heavier, but with Audi Quattro it will make an excellent daily driver and Autobahn cruiser. I predict that it won't be really viable on the track, but then again a 4,500lbs RS7 isn't that bad on the track either.

So now Audi is following MB with C class, E class, S class strategy ...
A4/A5/A6 (S4/S5/S6/RS4/RS5/RS6) all the same shape but different size right?

So as you can see, all 3 manufacturers are mostly going towards standard performance, middle performance, and then all-out performance for almost all of their models. Where the RS5 Sportback fits in nicely is in a place that like I said, BMW nor Mercedes has yet filled. I do hope that Audi brings an all new RS6 Sedan to the market to compete with the next F90 M5 and the new Mercedes E63S Sedan.

I think this is the problem Jack of all trades, and master of none! Mass production less attention to detail.
