I just got a quote from Aviva (through a broker) for £2,486. Seems high to me but the broker I spoke to said it is too good to be true, as I have (a) just recently moved to the UK, (b) do not have a UK license, (c) live in a high rate area and (d) it is a premium vehicle. AND I have to get a tracker installed. How much is that typically? Should I get the BMW dealer to install it for me?
What do you guys think? Should I look for more options? My car arrives next week and I don't want to be caught without coverage. I only get 7-day coverage with the new car.
