P.S. Sat in a queue behind a new 535i and tried to imagine how the differing panels of the M5 would look and came to the conclusion that the M5 will be stunning looking, way better than even the M3 IMHO. |

sexy rear lip spoiler.
this car looks ready!!! unveil! now! Front and Rear bumpers I've very interested in knowing if they will air scoops/vents on the hood. Would be cool, but traditionally, the m5 was supposed to be bad ass, yet disguised. |

I can't really say it's overly-beastly...

I think that a lot of people may be estimating the HP numbers a bit high. Thinking the DCT is the same as the M3 is also a bit dated as there are other more realistic options to handle the power now.
The two "M" buttons makes little sense unless there is an electric boost from one of them. The "M" button is programmable and key dependent so why would you need 2? Love the sleeper look. This is a beast.

These two buttons were their 'M' buttons to find possibly to best setup for the car. For example it might be two engine ECU throttle mappings. |

Same reason you have two seat memory buttons even though those are also programmable and key dependent. That is, to store and be able to quickly call up two different sets of settings or "profiles" if you will. It's actually a great idea for an enhanced MDrive feature, and I hope it makes it to production. This way you can have, for example, one for spirited street driving, and one for a true track setup. Or maybe one is for wife-and-kids mode with everything set to the most comfortable level, and one is with everything turned up to eleven. Or whatever else you want. |
