Full disclosure: I recently had the Dinan coil over suspension installed. I believe the rear speakers were removed as part of the install process. I did not notice a rattle until I got it back after the suspension work...

Also there is a TSB out there for the center speaker (that rises from the dash) for rattling.

Anyone get a fix from BMW as it seems I'm not the only one?
I thought I had a speaker rattle from the rear also but turned out to be a loose panel or something. Easy fix by the dealership. No rattles from speakers in 7000 miles. Now the brake squeal is another issue

Sirius radio has terrible sound quality.

I use it for Howard stern and use spotify for music which sounds fantastic on the B&O system.

Oh yes, that is for sure. I don't know what format they copy it with. I probably should just copy the stuff that I already ripped using WMP at 320kbps to the drive since that is what I have to do on the Porsche anyway. I had an ipod where I had stored a lot of music but it died so I just ripped the CDs I had put on the ipod to the car. I bet the car uses something less than 320kbps in order to store more songs but it sounds better than satellite radio and better than the ipod did.

The ipod sounds good, you just have to turn the EQ off on the ipod. It acts essentially like a USB drive once you do that. Make sure to get alac files when possible

Thank you, I'll have the dealer check things out. It can get annoying.

Brake squeal is something I have not experienced. Thankfully!

I have a 2015 m5 and they no longer include a 6 DVD changer in the glove box. I do get a 200gb internal hard drive to copy music to.

BMW M5 2015 with Bang & Olufsen...

Is possible install a subwoofer (10") in the car trunk?

If possible, as is control of subwoofer? Is independent of original system?
