M5 F10 Brake Install Question, FPC EURO Front & Rear, Pad & Rotor Kit

I appreciate and thank everyone in advance for their hints and advice. This is my initial post as a M5 owner.

TOPIC (1)
Until recently, I have not had a BMW since 1997 and 2000; both were E39 540i 6-speed manual vehicles. QUESTION: When performing a pad and rotor job, is one required to install new pad sensors if they have not been triggered? On the E39s, one could reuse un-triggered pad sensors.

Click here for the kit from FCP EURO that I may purchase. ** Contents do NOT contain pad sensors **
Kit Price: $2,069.99
Shipped: The next business day
Qty Part Brand SKU Price
1 Disc Brake Rotor BMW-34112284101 $441.77
1 Disc Brake Rotor BMW-34112284102 $441.77
1 Disc Brake Rotor BMW-34212284103 $319.69
1 Disc Brake Rotor BMW-34212284104 $319.69
1 Disc Brake Pad Set BMW-34112284869 $344.32
1 Disc Brake Pad Set BMW-34212284389 $135.54
1 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor BMW-34356791958 $28.36
1 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor BMW-34352284343 $27.01
4 Disc Brake Rotor Set Screw BMW-34111123072 $0.96
4 Disc Brake Rotor Set Screw BMW-34211161806 $1.34
2 Brake Anti-Squeal Paste BMW-83122296187 $1.10

I was looking into kits from:
Turner but they do not ship for 5-7 days from order date.
Kit Price: $1,876.74 shipping included
ECS but they do not ship for 7+ weeks from order date.
Kit Price: $1,511.42 + ~$52 shipping

TOPIC (2)
Off topic of the post's heading...but to pass Maryland State Inspection (MSI), I need to replace f/r tires too. Does anyone have regrets about going wider in rear on stock 20s? I do not anticipate doing any road coarse racing, thus larger stagger should not be an over steer issue. In addition, the height of the front (27.3") and rear (27.2") tires are closer than stock. I may purchase these from Amazon. The price for MP4S front (265/35/20) and rear (305/30/20) shipped and installed is $1,567.84. The same tires cost $1,648.92 at Costco, where I've purchased my last 11 sets of tires.

PAST CAR INFO...
Some past vehicles:
1997 WS6 Pontiac Formula Firebird 6-Speed (sold)
1997 BMW 540i 6-Speed (stolen)

Brake Pad Wear Sensors / Do you agree or disagree

I called a BMW dealer and left a message asking about M5 F10 brake sensors. They have not called back but I just located the following on the TURNER motorsports website.

BMW F10 Brake Pad Sensors
BMWs are built with a wear indicator for the front and rear brake pads. When the pad wears to a certain point, the metal of the brake rotor will contact the sensor and trip the [BRAKE] light on your dash. This is an indication that your pads are low and need to be replacement soon. It's impossible to know exactly how many miles are left so have a shop inspect the pads and make recommendations for additional brake work to have done. Remember that if the dash light comes on then the sensor needs to be replaced in addition to the pads. Most BMWs have one sensor in the front (left-front) and one in the rear (right rear) since pads are replaced in axle sets only.

It is not crystal clear but it appears the wear sensors do not need replaced if they have not been triggered by physical wear.

I'm still learning a lot regarding the M5 F10; please correct me if I am wrong.

UPDATE1:
I just spoke with Turner Motor Sports and they said the sensor's are reusable but become brittle from heat and may brake even if one is careful.

UPDATE 2:
Chime in if you agree or disagree...
I received a call back from my local BMW dealer and their service representative (not their parts rep) highly recommended the sensors be replaced when I install new pads and rotors. He guaranteed me that one or both sensors would fail before there's an actual need for pad replacement.

BMW rotor dealer pricing / Amazon Tire Purchase

TOPIC (1)
Click here to see the best deal I could locate for front and rear BMW rotors. Once in the checkout screen, the dealer may adjust shipping cost. See the note regarding "Oversized and Overweight items" near bottom of the estimate

TOPIC (2)
The Amazon price listed did not include tax. The purchase price with installation and tax is $1,651.88. This is just a few dollars more than Costco's tire price. If I was not in a time crunch for passing the Maryland State Inspection, I'd wait another month and the price may drop $70 or more dollars since Costco is running either a Michelin or Bridgestone rebate essentially every month. Unfortunately this month it is Bridgestone.

Yes the sensors are reusable, I never replace them on any bmw until they fall apart.

Seems like good advice

Now I know how brake pad sensors work. It is simply a continuity circuit. Break or cut the wire and then the fault light appears. I found this clip and I loved it.

I need new rotors again

I found the following genuine BMW rotor pricing information today.
|| BMW of South Atlanta $1,590 || FPC EURO $1,660 || ECS Tunning $1,756 ||

Do any of you know of better pricing for BMW rotors? Or are there better rotor alternatives now since my last BMW rotor purchase was 3 years ago. It has been more than ten years since I purchased Zimmerman rotors but I am not a fan of the look/color of Zimmerman rotors.

If you got the kit from fcp, they have lifetime replacement. Buy once then never pay again (except return shipping)
Sorry for resurrecting the thread, but saw this post and hoped to save you some money

some rotor options and costs

Wish I would have gone with FPC Euro initially, now knowing of their awesome lifetime guarantee. I need new rotors again

I’ve been without my M5 for months due to drivetrain and motor issues. Now new brakes are a must!

Update:
My local NAPA is offering me very good pricing on Zimmerman rotors...
NAPA ||$XXXX.XX||

Zimmerman Front: 150 2907 70 $3XX.XX (XX are smeared and not readable)
Zimmerman Front: 150 2908 70 $348.42
Zimmerman Rear: 150 2909 70 $270.04
Zimmerman Rear: 150 2910 70 $271.01

Weight difference in rotors?

I’ve been looking for spec sheets but have had no luck trying to identify if there are any weight differences between the rotors offered for our F10 M5.

Supplier————front lbs. / rear lbs.
Genuine BMW
Zimmerman
