I've never seen that many slow turbo cars in my life.
Gave up as the car was getting heat soaked and did not want to push. Out of 100+ cars only 2 cars made it into the 10's and I did a 11.2@126. Cars that were expecting high 10's with awd and forced induction were doing high 11's. They told me to come back in October when it's cooler. It was 96 degrees by 10pm and very humid. Sorry guys, I tried.

First rain, then heat, how frustrating. Your next try will be in low temps and you'll be making lots of power, but the track will be slippery because it's so cold! Too bad Lions drag strip isn't around anymore. Nice moderate temps with usually cool moist ocean air, and much closer! Maybe you'll have some improvements to the car by then and dip farther into the 10s than you might have. Good luck.

I'm planning to try out Fontana drags tomorrow since word has it there will be no lines. Racing from 9am to 5pm, and the track is much more local. Early morning temps are only in the 70's. Wanna go? Would be interesting to see how our cars do relative to one another.

How did you do? This Sunday is another test and tune, but it looks to be 83 degrees by 9am.
