i am still debating and i thought just 10mm on the rear would look beefy as the front wheels look fine in the fender, but when you look at the rear fender the rear wheels are inset too much and those are the only ones I really want to push out but unsure if it looks good without spacers on the front.

can you post pics?

Do you have to run extended lug bolts with the 12/10 spacer set-up?

Yes, I bought mine from BMS and they come with the longer wheel bolts.

Here is 12mm before and after, car was lowered on H&R springs. Excuse the dirty car. 12mm is perfect in my opinion.

i have a couple sets of 12.5mm ecs spacers i used on my f80 m3. it looks like, from what i can tell looking at part #s on ecs.com, they would fit the f10 hub.

does anyone have experience transferring spacers from one platform to ours? if not, i will sell the 12.5s and go 10s all the way around.

edit: all my searching has me thinking the spacers and bolts are 1:1 between the f10 and f80. appreciate any thoughts or experience.

any thoughts on brands? Macht Schnell, Burger, and Future Classics.

Do you really get more if you pay more?

i can only speak to h&r and ecs tuning as i've run those with zero issues on my bmws and audis. plenty of love in this thread for all of the brands listed. imho, i would not pay the premium for future classic to get a couple bolts and anti-seize paste. but that's just me.

ecs tuning 12.5mm on all for corners for me at the moment.

2014 with competition package, stock everything. 12mm macht schnell on all 4 corners. No rubbing issues at all.

I went Future Classic 12mm all around with FC 80mm titanium stud kit with Project Kics Neo Chrome open end lugs. A bit tunerish, but the Neo really works with roundel and gold CCB’s.

To be clear, you do not have to do an alignment to add spacers. Mount up and roll.

Dealer alignments are fine. Cost difference is negligible and they tend to take good/better care of our cars. They also tend only to align to factory-provided specs unless you are clear, and have a good relationship, with the SA.

If you have exact specs to hit, from a lowering kit or something, you should consider outside.
