Brake Pads for Street

Hi All,

What aftermarket street pads would everyone recommend for back & front?

The computers are telling me that I need to change them, I know they are not 100% accurate, but defo worth doing some research ahead of time and get them done ASAP.

Pagid? Ferodo? Brembo? Textar?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hands down go with Carbotech 1521's. Great performance, longevity and most importantly low dust. Been running them for 40k miles with no issues.

Do you use them for all 4 pads? Front & rear?

Had some carbotechs installed about 4 months ago, they are so so imo. Stock pads grip a lot better, and my carbotechs suck when cold / wet out. After I wash my car now I have to drive very slow until the brakes dry properly.

I don't regret getting them but I'd go OEM over Carbotech if I were to do it again.. and I just might LOL

I use endless on my f10 m5, mx72 version. They bite just like Oem, maybe a bite more, and very progressive in terms of brake feel, it's you get more braking performance with more force. Compared to oem where, there is a falloff in brake performance maybe 2/3 way into the brake pedal. Dust wise, it's a bit less, but the dusting never concerned me anyways. I would rather get performance and clean the wheels more often. It is a heavy car and having the strong bite I think is less fatiguing to drive daily in my personal opinion.

Are the brembos low met type or the NAO version with red shims which are supposed to be low dust? the low met type was claimed to be less or lesser dust than originals.
