Kw has at its lowest setting not happy

Hi

The shop that is installing the kw has on my m5, just send me this pucture with the front on the lowest setting.

The assured me the have folllowd the instruktion, and have made sure the perch is all the way down.

Could it be that the have put the bag springs on the front ?

Not happy with the drop

I may be in the minority on this one, but that drop looks perfect. It definitely looks lower than stock height, but still more functional than being slammed. I'm not a fan of the slammed look; I hate having to look for small potholes or bumps on the road. Regardless, I hope you get the ride height that you're looking for.

Be sure they install everything front and rear and drive it before making judgments on where it will settle. Also - ask to be sure they final tightened the lower strut mount with the car on the ground. If those two things have already been done - then the bottom spring perch isn’t seated deep enough.

I have the same setup, and here’s a pic for reference. My wheels are 21” but the overall tire diameter is the same as yours.

18mm lower than non comp car maybe? The competition cars are 10mm lower than standard M5

It was only 8mm lower, but the fixed the problem and i now have 25mm more to okay with,

On a Stock m5 you have up to 35mm lowering 😉

I send them send them you replay😉 seriously, and the did everything plus driving it before the did anything. the Said the kw specs for the spring perch according to the manuel was 32mm on the front and 50mm on the back, the changed so its 50/50 and now the specs are in line.

Not sure what to think, but now the lowering falks in line with the 35-25 specs that kw claims, and it looks like what i have seen with other cars with the has kit.

And the car drives an behaves beautifully
