Downpipes with 200 cell cats (good or bad?)

Hello everyone. I'm looking to upgrade to a stage 2 tune and with 200 cell cats. Been looking at 2 budget ones and I'm wondering if you guys used anyone of the two? Both claims to be with 200 cells cats. One is made by TA Technix and the other Team-2-fast. I want cats to pass the emission test so they need to work.

I've looked at these multiple times. Some places buy their cats in from China and weld them into their own downpipes. It's hard to say whether they will pass emissions. Cheaper ones are unlikely I'd say.

I bought the ta technix 200 cell downpipes and they are now mounted on the car. They fitted fine, some small adjustments. I did heat wrap them to be sure to have no heat issues. Still waiting for the tune file from BMP to my stage 2 tune that I bought at the same time. The downpipes work fine without cel so far

Any difference running them? How was the quality and what type of adjustment was needed?

Thanks

They eventually will go out and throw the cat inefficiency code. But the smell won't be there.

Either go catless or get high-quality cats. Low-quality cats do not last

I haven't seen 200 cel cats that will pass the emissions, you get check engine light error. Also, there is noticeable petrol smell from outside, not from inside.

Hi, how are you getting on with this downpipe and what power did you make with your stage 2 map as I'm really considering these also just after some others experiences? Cheers
