Sound inside cabin

Recently added a Dinan Exhaust to my M5. While the sound has definitely improved on the outside, it's still nothing on the inside.

The cabin is so well insulated. What's the best set up to get some sound inside the cabin?

I know I want to downpipe the car but unsure if I should go catted or catless. I'm leaning towards catless because I don't want to idle and smell my fumes. If I go downpipe, will I need a flash tune?

Any opinions/assistance would be great!

Catless adds smell and needs a tune

If you dont want to do that then dont bother with high flow cats

The hard thing is to get the sound out
It actually sounds much better outside

Roll the windows down is a start. But joking asides, these cars are made to block the noise. I have pretty much straight pipe exhaust (catless down-pipes, resonator & muffler delete) and the noise from outside and inside are complete different. From inside, its not too loud but outside people can hear my car coming around the corner, leaving the meet, etc...

Also, if you want less fumes, I'd recommend going with a high-flow (catted) downpipes. You will need a tune for (1) remove the check in engine light & (2) properly tune the car to function with the new down pipes.

I have the RPI and the inside is really loud around 1500-2000 rpm. Am I the only one?
