Hardwire radar w add a fuse?

Looking to hardwire my radar. In the past w my e92 m3 I used an add a fuse which is plug and play and allows you to get power without tapping into any existing wires.

Has anyone done the same on the F10 and know which fuse can be safely tapped to provide acc power?

The easiest way is to use the switched power in the mirror. I have that setup in my M6. In the five I tapped into the sunroof supply in the overhead console. Just google it. There are several posts.
You can tap an ACC power supplied fuse without a problem

I just don’t want to tap a wire and impact the integrity of the wire. The add a fuse method involes no impact to existing wires.

I wired my V1 and my Waylens using Add-A-Fuse. Used fuse #48 in the glove box. Been reliable for years. Power is on/off with ignition.

Try this link for the "tapped".
https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sh...ight=valentine
for the "mirror plugged" version, remove the cap on the windshield electronics and find the plug where you can insert the wires for the power and ground
The brown/black wire in the top right position is the ground. The brown/green wire in the bottom middle position is the 12 V switched
