Soul Exhaust Install

Thanks to Mike at Soul. The ordering, tracking and packaging were perfect. Parts are high quality. Install is super clean and easy.

3.5" black chrome tips

Installed 3.5" black chrome tips. CP factory tips are 3". My car is CP but hated the looks of the tips tucked inside the bumper. Finally the problem is solved. I can adjust them to whatever position I want.

This will be me when exhaust time comes. How did you judge where to cut the OEM?

How much louder is the turbo spool? I wouldnt really expect any performance gains, but I may be interested if you could hear the turbos more.
its obvious.
Agreed. It's an obvious difference. Pull the trigger.

Follow the instructions to look for the OEM cut point. You’ll see a dimple in the OEM pipe. I drew a straight line around the pipe first, then used a manual pipe cutter to mark it. And finally cut clean with a reciprocating saw.

I used a kit, in my case Carlinkit. It was quite some wiring work, but it's worth it. I will work on an additional feature tomorrow, since I don't have the sports display. Stay tuned 😃

My M5 is production date 06/14 and therefore it's not working 🥺 must be a 2015 or newer model. But I already figured out a much better solution 👍🏻

Bath
CF (all) roundel overlays (good enough for the time being)
CF rear spoiler
\\\M caliper decal refresh
OEM \\\M black plate holder (went black for a reason....have a project coming up soon)

Thinking of wrapping roof in gloss black w/CF black fin.
Something needs to be done with those headlights...eyebrows or maybe a custom build...not sure just yet.

Future:
Soul
KW V3
10/12mm spacers

Installed the BMW M Performance steering wheel with race display and added cf shifting paddles. Removed the standard black start button and replaced with a red version. Also installed BMW intakes. Pretty happy with the results, KW HAS will be next...

Do you mean BMS intakes..
Of course 🤣 BMS intakes! Thanks for the correction, BMW doesn't offer such intakes.
