Looks wet! Honestly I don’t think there’s anything more “feel good” than a full paint correction topped with ceramic. Looks incredible always, transforms your wash routine, and keeps that hardshell coating for protection. I’ll never own another car without it!

Been interested in wrapping my project 911, so I decided to try my hand at wrapping the m5 trim gloss black. Turned out pretty well for my first time. Did the front grill ring, side vents, mirror caps and spoiler.

I used 3m 2080 on everything except the mirrors. Used Avery Dennison for those. 3m has a nicer gloss but the Avery is a lot more forgiving for complex curves like the mirror caps.

it looks like the black gloss matches the vertical grill bars perfectly.

I'm not sure if this counts, but I was finally able to pick up an Akrapovic exhaust that I had bought from someone on the forum, can't wait to get it installed!

Swapped out my old Scrape Armor Kit for a new one - amazing fit and finish. Worth every penny.

I picked up a set of 3.5” 30 degree elbows, then cut them to approx 15 degrees which allowed me to rotate the MAF back/lower and still tuck the filter lower as well. Pretty straightforward and way happier with the clearance and fit.
BTW I went back to BMS and explained the issues via a UK distributor ML Performance. I also told them I wasn't on my own with this and other people on this forum have encountered the same issue.

The technician came back with "turn the intake pipe more down which should resolve the issue" - and explained they have installed loads of these hand have never faced any issues

I suppose the outcome I was expecting but just kind of expecting a bit more from BMS in the first place as I thought they had some quality products. Especially when I've paid nearly Ł500 but 2 air filers, some silicon couplers and an intake pipe...

Anyhow I've ordered some 15deg 3.5" couplers so will hopefully resolve

PS if anyone is interested I did some back to back dragy testing with and without BMS.

It makes absolutely no performance gain, my 100-200kph was actually 2 hundred of a second slower (6.94 vs 6.91 previously) and my 60-130mph was a few hundreds of a second faster. I'm basically attributing no change as a result of the filters given its so close and you did get some variance in runs.

For sure! I expected the general “you don’t know what you’re doing,” or an oversimplified solution type response despite that I’m a metal fabricator and have been building cars for 20 years. The elbows were an inexpensive fix and I didn’t have to hear the bullshit from BMS.

Replaced all four corners with PS4S in anticipation of heading up north (Michigan) for, among other things, the best driving roads in the state. Only got to hammer it a few times on the way back from the the shop, but the grip is greatly improved from the old PSS I had!

Just cleaned the engine bay. It's not professionally done but I'm proud of it. Can't wait for the cruise to Key Largo tomorrow with MBC.
