They seem to be fitting a lot of them but nobody on here has them.. been speaking to the owner Nd there bringing a 1 piece silicone kit out soon

im local to them and have one buddy that has them on his car. Thier similar to the msr design. My buddy is happy with them and had i not went with the rk carbon fiber route i was gonna buy a set from them.

its batshit that people are charging the amount for intakes that they are for these cars... that is like MAYBE 2-300 dollars in parts

i had them lsat year on my first m5 i got them for around 675 they were cool but honestly sounded similar to the bms....

i was more paranoid in the rain

on my second m5 i didnt do anything left it all stock lol

I was totally sold on the gamma intakes and really looking forward to them until I read the MSR disaster thread, plus all the paranoia of rain going into the engine from intakes. I destroyed a stock e90 330d going through a large puddle a few years ago. They look and sound so cool though but i just cant do it. Heres a clip from you tube of someone installing and trying out one.

I have the rk carbon fiber ones on my car and have had no problems. I have even driven in the rain multiple times with no issues. Not sure what all the paranoia is about.

So the original intakes were aluminum with k&n filters,now they are silicone tubes with spectre filters? I'm confused on what's being sold now.

Correct

They where using spectre with the alloy ones aswell
