Heat Shielded Aftermarket Downpipe

http://www.redstarexhaust.com/produc...-f13-downpipes

They offer ceramic wool heat shielding for the downpipes which is something I’ve never seen before

A turbo blanket and/or exhaust wrap is the better buy.

everyone advised me against heatshielding. the cats are way hotter. without cats its way less. and wraps degrade etc etc

unless youre going to push 1000 hp dont worry about it.

The factory downpipes are heat shielded.

All aftermarket down pipe are of thin stainless metal.

ceramic coating and wraps don't work as well as heat shielding..That is why a PTP turbo blanket works better than DEI heat tape.

These downpipes are insulated with similar material to what the turbo blankets are made out of.

With heat shielding they are about 1300 dollars so I'm not sure what @ILLuSioNz X "949 LOL" response was about?

Just was trying to share a unique product I came across with the community.

What’s wrong with the location? There’s car culture everywhere
