This is my M5. It has Meisterschaft GTC + AMS Catless Downpipes and it sounds like an absolute beast!!!

The best thing about this exhaust system is that I can open and close the valves whenever I want via remote on my keychain. It goes from MILD to WILD in just a few seconds...absolutely worth every penny.

I've gotten more compliments on my exhaust than I could've imagined. I bought the LXR midpipe as well (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), and when this thing is open + downpipes....it sounds like an exotic car...this thing under bridges or tunnels....will put a smile on your face and turn heads every single time.

And when I want it to be quiet when I have family/gf in the car, I can press a button and close the valve. Even with it closed, it sounds incredible and what the car should have sounded like stock.

It was a little expensive, but worth every penny in my mind.

I have the Akra setup and it sounds good IMO, but had a friend with a meisterschaft and that sounded way louder. I can assure you the Akra has little to no drone if that is a concern to you

People are only talking about sound when it comes to exhaust - are all the available exhausts 3" pipe? the factory is 3" piping from the downpipes to pretty much behind the axle I believe so what are the performance gains at the 650-850hp power level for going straight pipe?

Your car sounds the best. Im considering the full system one of course. Do they provide the exhaust with resonated one? I just want to make sure that the one that i order have no resonator throughout.

I'm not quite sure to be honest. I did the GTC system + the LXR midpipe and have zero regrets.

I convinced them to throw the wireless keychain remote in for free and free shipping as part of the sale. I believe they are still running a pretty heavy discount right now on everything for the F10 M5)

I called them directly at their GT Haus website.

If you have any questions regarding the install, let me know! Depending on what kind of diffuser you have, you might have to to play around with the valves to get it to fit properly.

Also, you'll need the installer to run the wires through the rubber grommet where your park distance control goes through to get to the battery or the cigarette lighter in the trunk (that's what I used to get 12v power to the flaps). Any experienced installer can do this easily.

Just PM me if you need help!

I think meisterschaft makes more considering it has no secondary car and 3.5" all the way through.

Maybe 5-10 hp more?

What modifications do you need to make to use 3.5” downpipes or do they go from 3” at the turbo to 3.5” for the rest of the straight pipe system ? Thanks

I think you got it right 3" from the downpipe and 3.5" right after at the front pipe.

So again I don’t mean to seem argumentative but if we’re talking about increasing HP not also increasing the diameter of the downpipes makes little sense to me.

Why not just knock out the cats on the factory down pipes and get an axle back to make the exhaust 3” all the way ?

Seems like y’all are spending 5-8000 dollars for MAYBE 20-30hp and some noise?

@allmotor2000 didn’t really notice much gains from messing with the exhaust until the 1000hp level - how many of y’all are at or past that?
