laggy/lack of pedal response acceleration
Sometimes when Im driving it seems like my car loses any throttle response when pressing down on the pedal. I could be at a light or stop sign and trying to give it gas and nothing for a second and then all of a sudden its surges like I smashed the pedal down. What can be the cause? MAF, injectors or HPFP?

Vacuum leak could result similar behavior. Check your exhaust valve hose first.
Secondary vacuum reservoir supplies vacuum to the exhaust valve and also turbo wastegate!! |

Also one thing I recently learned is that these DCT's act like they are in neutral when you come to a stop. From a stop, with your foot off the brake and pedal, you can then tap and release the pedal and the car will idle forward like a normal automatic trans does. I think if you give it too much throttle when the DCT is in that "neutral" state it lags like you were saying and then jumps forward. Once I learned the above I just started to tap the pedal to get going, wait for the car to engage and start rolling, then you're good to go. |

I hate the DCT from a dead stop BUT everything after that is great. Coming from my wife's RCF, the M5 shifts so much faster.

Mine is abit like this on occasion, putting the throttle into "sport" stops this... i think its just the car trying to be abit efficient haha
