Pop sound in rear

Every so often I get a pop sound in the rear going over curb, backing over curb or turn at slow speeds. I'm wondering if any of you have experience this? Maybe strut spring resetting, bushing, etc?

What year is your car? Early ones had trouble with the rear springs but were only replaced by BMW upon complaint.

Reread your posts and it seems like I am experiencing the same issue on my F90.
Did the differential fluid change helped?

If not what was the issue ?

This rear spring popping runs across all the models, not sure if it affects lowered Competition ones, sometimes it comes and then goes.

Extra rubber bushing on the spring seats would probably reduce the popping.

Solved it with changing differential oil and transfer case oil.

Popping was occurring only while cold or after the car sitting for sometime and making a sharp turn.

So it was overdue for oil change.
