First 1000 miles I had my car had a rock chip. Repair was bad. But I lived with it. Then 2 more. Another repair.
But now, it is getting longer. I have not repaired it yet.
I want an experienced technician. I brought my MB to an INDI auto glass repair company and they did an awful job putting back all the trims in the car.

Trying my best to live with this one, but it's getting very annoying staring me in the face every time I drive.
Plan on taking it to Safelite for a full replacement and hoping all goes well.
I hope there's no issues with viewing the h/u display.

Thats pretty big. It will annoy me too.
Mines a small chip but starting to crack. I can still live with it but I am most likely bring it to BMW for repairs.
Safelite has some good technicians. It depends on the the area.

Would those alcantara steering wheel work for a manual? Is there a link for an install.

Would you mind sending that info to me as well. Looks great and I love that the stripe isn't the light blue that normally comes on OEM version.

Hello,

I want to inform you that I am new to the forum and recently purchased a BMW M5 F10 LCI. I noticed something similar to an adapter coming out of the left side of the engine. I would like to learn more about this adapter and its purpose. If anyone has any information or experience with it, please share. Thank you in advance for your help!

Not sure what it is though its written N63 on it which isn't the same as the S63 TU engine of the M5.

Hi buddy!
This looks like the Burger Tuning JB Stage 1 N63 https://x-ph.com/burger-tuning-bmw-j...3tu-ecu-tuner/ You can quickly find all info about it. It was very popular chip tune some time ago. As for me I would get rid of it, also looking at the way someone left it in your engine bay.
Stage 1 could be achieved simply by ECU software modification, no boxes or cables hanging. The only advantage of this box is the owner can remove it before dealership to avoid breaking warranty. Considering our cars' age out of warranty this is not an issue anymore.

Preparing for a BPM Stage 1 tune and even though I'm at <23k miles, Mike still recommended plugs. So I swapped in the 97506s gapped at .025, only took a few hours and didn't disconnect the DMEs. Only dropped 1 screw into no-man's land but had another. Thought I broke one of the coils but was able to snap the lever back on, used a 1/2" extension through it and was able to pull it out. She purrs like a kitten and definitely has a quicker throttle response and smoother power.

What does your tune recommend the plugs be gapped at ?

A lot of tuned cars are gapped to .18-.20 depends on what your tune call for and a step colder.
