Software updates
Guys I have my car at BMW for a service and ask them to check why it failed dmv inspection something related to sensors not all reporting as the guys who did my rear pads managed to reset the whole car. So the bmw service center tells me that to proceed with the test plan they have to do software updates that cost $340. I have ista-d and esys however I’m unsure if we can do those updates with that or if only BMW or bmwtech group I have seen in some posts? Do I pay to have them do it or is there a way we can do it ourselves?
